Whilst training should secure a lasting improvement in capability the reality is that most training dollars are wasted. This is because either the actual training needs of each individual have not been properly identified or because the training is not effective in creating new behaviours in the workplace. PMMS’s Skills Development Program is a comprehensive approach to building a highly competent and professional procurement function.
The program starts with understanding the needs of the organisation and assessing individual knowledge and capability. From the resulting gap analysis a comprehensive suite of training interventions can be designed that are tailored to meet the needs of both the organisation and each member of the Procurement team Project based training can focus on skills transfer through coaching or mentoring individuals through the actual projects they are responsible for
